May is National Foster Care Month
In Ohio, more than 18,000 children and
youth are living away from home because of abuse, neglect and dependency.
More than twenty-seven hundred Ohio children are awaiting adoption.  Many
youth “age out” of foster care and transition to adulthood without active
parents in their lives.  No one comes forward to give them the loving home
they desire.  Could you be that loving adult or family?

Wyandot County Job and Family Services needs responsible, caring adults who
enjoy children and want to provide a loving, caring home for them.
Would you be willing to consider becoming a foster or adoptive parent.
