This banner is made in white felt, the color of joy and newness of life.  The Latin Cross Fleur'ee with the fleur-de-lis symbol, the symbol of the Holy Trinity, is made of gold yarn in crewel work.  The escallop shell, a symbol of Baptism, is padded and made of a silver and white metallic material.  The ribs are of silver cording.  The three drops of water, made of pearls glued on felt, symbolize baptism in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  The banner is finished with gold fringe.
