Easter/Funerals/Christ the King Sunday
Christ The King Banner

This banner is made on a white upholstery suggesting joy and purity.
On the banner is a brown felt empty cross, signifying the risen Lord. The cross is covered with a wide lace, from a friend in Texas, and assorted sizes of pearls. The cross and the crown symbolize a reward to those who are faithful unto death. His resurrection was a victory over death and provides his followers with the crown of life.
James 1:12 and Revelations 2:10.
The people of Israel awaited their King, the Messiah, but didn’t understand that He would be different from any other King who ever lived. He was born in a stable and He rode a donkey. Rather than amassing riches, He died a humiliating death on a cross for His people.
This King does not demand to be served; He serves. The King of love, Jesus, took for Himself the punishment we deserve for our sins. And in exchange, He gave us His innocence. The sacrifice and benefit of His body and blood is distributed in Holy Communion. There Jesus loves, forgives and saves.
Because of His death and resurrection, we shall live with Him forever. In eternity, every knee will bow to Christ, the King of love and mercy. This King alone is worthy of our worship and praise.
The banner is finished with assorted colors of beads used as the fringe with red  and gold metallic flower trim above the beads.
This banner is made for Christ the King Sunday in November and can also be used for Easter or for funerals.
