Easter and funerals
Alleluia

This banner is made on white felt, the color of joy and celebration, for the musical production of "Alleluia!" by Gaither and Huff, given by our joint choirs at Easter.  The song, "Alleluia," runs throughout the contata.  The lettering is made of a gold metallic material over cardboard and glued onto the felt.  The sun  of a padded gold materiel with a cross of a copper metallic material in the center, symbolizes Christ as the Son of Righteousness spoken of in Old Testament times.  The rays are of a white and gold mesh material over cardboard outlined in gold cording.  The butterfly with wings of the white and gold mesh material over cardboard outlined in gold cording, and us a symbol of resurrection and eternal life.  As the butterfly leaves the pupa and soars upward with a new body, so did Christ and so through Christ are his followers born to a new life for which we must shout "Alleluia!"  The banner is finished with gold fringe. This banner appropriate for Easter and funerals.
