NORTH SALEM BEGINS ANNIVERSARY OBSERVENCE

The first event was held on Sunday on April 30, 2000.  Sunday School at 9 a.m. with the former Pastor William J. Zoltner teaching the Adult Sundy School Class.  Bishop Lohrman joined the congregation for the worship service at 10 a.m. and a potluck dinner followed the service.  The afternoon program honored confirmation classes, choir members, directors, and organists with former member Rebecca Bennett as the organists for the day.

Anniversary banners made by Mary Ellen Gottfried enhanced the church's celebration.

In the aclove, a special history room has been established, featuring all the former pastors' pictures.  A display cabinet with a glass showcase contains memorabillia.
