Christ bearing the cross is made on purple felt, the color suggesting remorse.  The cross is made of brown felt outlined in a white and gold cording.  The sleeve of Christ's arm is made of a linen material. His hand and sleeve are outlined with a brown yarn.

The banner suggests to us that Christ bore and suffered on the cross for us that our sin might be forgiven.  We follow Jesus as he travels the road to Golgotha and the ultimate sacrifice, the crucifixion.
