Pentecost
Burning Bush

Moses heard God's call in the commanding presence of the burning bush.  The flames, in three shades of orange to red felt, remind us of God's mighty power--power that He wants to release in us.  The bush, in various shades of green felt, symbolizes life.  As we hear God's call to yield our lives to Him, we leave doubt, hesitation, and unwillingness behind and respond by surrendering our lives to Him.  This banner is also appropriate for Confirmation as the wording, "Take My Life," expresses the significance of the confirmation commitment.  It is hoped that each Sunday as you see this banner, you will be reminded of the need for the renewal of your confirmation vows.  The lettering is done in red felt, the color for Pentecost.  The flames are edged in gold cording and the banner is finished with fold fringe at the bottom.
