Pentecost
Dove and Flames

This banner is made on red felt for Pentecost, the color of fire.  The dove signifies the Holy Spirit and the Presence of God.  The descending dove is made of white felt with a blue jewel for an eye.  The flames represent tongues of fire seen at the first Pentecost and are made of light orange and blue felt with several covered with blue and gold sequins for effect.  The large blue flame is outlined in blue sequins. The lettering, "Come, Holy Spirit--Be Our Guide," is made of white felt.  The banner is finished with fold fringe.
