Behold Your King Is Coming is made on purple felt, the color of mourning, expressing sorrow and penitence.  The palm branch is of green felt and symbolizes Christ's triumphant ride into Jerusalem (John 12:13).  The crown, made of gold metallic material, is a symbol of the kingship of our Lord; his victory over sin and death; His place of honor at the right hand of God the Father.
