This banner is made of green felt for the summer season, symbolizing life and growth in Christ.  The vine, symbolizing Christ, has various shades of green felt leaves for which actual grape leaves were used for the patterns.  the person who has been grafted into Christ, the true vine, will produce the fruits of the Spirit--Joy, Patience, Gentleness, Self-Control, Kindness, Faithfulness, Goodness, Love, and Peace.  Each fruit is made of a different color of felt and outlined in sequins.  The lettering, "I am the vine...bear much fruit," is made of various colors of felt.  This banner, finished in gold fringe, can be used anytime that life and growth in Christ are emphasized.
