Purposes of the Society

To support the objectives of the Ohio Genealogical Society
To create and build interest in preserving and collecting historical records of Wyandot County and related areas of Ohio
To take an active part in collecting records and in making them available for use in genealogical research
To aid individuals in research and link those doing the same family lines
To educate members on genealogy and local history

Activities of the Society

A newsletter is published six times a year with announcements, queries and relevant genealogical items
Donation of local history books. periodicals, manuscripts and microfilm to local library
Field trips to research libraries and historical societies
Pioneer Families:

Honors those who are able to prove an ancestor in Wyandot County prior to 1860 for a Silver Pioneer and prior to 1850 for a Gold Pioneer. Application forms available upon request
Pioneer Families Dinner honoring those members accepted into the Pioneer Families of Wyandot County

Meetings

The Wyandot Tracers meet the third Monday of each month at 6:30 PM in the Upper Sandusky Community Library, unless otherwise announced.
